Joined the forums on New Year's Eve of 2007. Grandpa was later to be confirmed as Shoku's alter-ego.
The World R:1[]
He is normally found sitting near Mac Anu's bridge when online. He was believed to be an all-knowing old man who never took a side in any disputes.
The World: Anomoly[]
Grandpa's first 'real' role began here. In this game he become one with Shoku and gained the powers of Gorre. Frequently argueing with Shoku on how to do things correcctly, he eventually helped the others to regain control of the game and shut it down. He later went comatose.
The World 2d[]
Grandpa returned in the remake of The World later. He sits at the bridge still and offers items to passers by in exchange for Grunty items. He seems to a lot more than he leads on, especially about players, items and areas.
Offline[]
Apparently offline Grandpa was believed to be an actual old man who loves his wife but complains about her cooking.
In reality the old man was nowhere but inside of Shoku's mind.
Trivia[]
- Grandma (Grandpa's apparent wife) is controlled by Karu which leads one to doubt Grandpa's true existence.
- The weapon known as Grandpa's Cane is rumored to exist somewhere in the game.
- Grandpa is usually nice to new players and older players alike.
- He enjoys helping people offline and online.
- The fact that he asks for Grunty Items in TW 2d is another clue that he is Shoku
